SCRIPTed (Lewis & Clark, Portland OR)
SCRIPTed began in the fall of 2008 when a group of English majors decided that Improv seemed like a funny thing to do. At the time it was known as "The Serious Club" and met once a week for an hour and a half. The next year, the founder of the club Bradley T. Jonas, decided to create a more dedicated performance group that practiced another 2 times a week and did more regular shows on campus. A group of seven guys made up this initial team, and dubbed themselves SCRIPT, standing for the SERIOUS CLUB REALLY INTENSE PERFORMANCE TROUPE. The next year saw the graduation of all but 3 of the original members of SCRIPT, but an influx of freshmen, swelling the group size from seven to 13. That team began to perform more on campus and in the surrounding area, playing shows in residence hall lounges to groups of 40-50. At the end of that year (the Spring of 2011) the group changed the name from SCRIPT to SCRIPTed increasing both the irony and the number of syllables in the team name. They decided to name the group mascot (a very serious cartoon frog) Ed, so as to fit into the new name of the team. This year, SCRIPTed grew exponentially. We held auditions for the first time and had nearly 40 people try out, resulting in a final team of 17. The group remains very young, with only four upperclassmen currently playing (including senior captains Nate Cohen and Terry Fletcher, the only players left from the original Serious Club). Our audience base has grown as well, and while we still perform in Res Hall lounges, we do so now in front of crowds of upwards of 100. Our team does both short and long form Improv, but is particularly known for our short-form work. The team practices four hours a week, but still holds open "Serious Club" sessions every Friday so that any and all who wish to experience the joy of Improv can do so. Every show we change what the RI in our name stands for, performing as the Serious Club Rakishly Inconsolable Performance Troupe to the Serious Club Rotundly Impish Performance Troupe and everything in between. We enjoy long walks on the beach, dancing in the rain and soft folk ballads sung by large bearded men named Ronan."

The Cockatoos prefer to eat seeds, tubers, corms, fruit, flowers and insects. The Cockatoos are instantly recognizable by their showy crests and curved bills. Their plumage is generally less colourful than that of other parrots, being mainly white, grey, or black, and often with coloured features in the crest, cheeks, or tail. On average they are larger than other parrots; however, the Cockatiel, the smallest cockatoo species, is a small bird.
