The Queer Improv Society is Vancouver's premier home for queer improvisers! Buy some pay-what-you-can tickets to see them every Wednesday in the Junction Pub and watch some of the queerest improv in Canada! Or join them every Monday for their workshops, hosted by professional Improvisers!

Instant Theatre has been on the cutting edge of improvisation in Vancouver for the last two decades. They've recently reborn like a Phoenix and are taking the city by storm. They produce high-quality shows in a variety of styles, offer classes for performers at all levels. Check 'em out!
Vancouver International Improv Festival
Every year, the best improvisers in the world descend on Vancouver to make magic happen. The festival runs for a week every year sometime in September or October. Without hyperbole, this will be the best improv you will see all year, so make sure you see it.
The Sunday Service
The final word on improv in Vancouver, The Sunday Service is made up of some of the best improvisers in town. They perform their trademark combination of short form games and open long form every Sunday. The show is always a blast and special guests from all around North America pop up on a regular basis. Check them out every Sunday, 8pm, at the Fox Cabaret, and enjoy pay-what-you-can tickets on the last Sunday of the month!

Dead Parrots Society
Founded in 1998, Western Washington University's own Dead Parrots Society is WWU's improv comedy troupe. The Parrots are Western students who perform regularly throughout the year and around the Pacific Northwest. They perform Improvisational Theatre; the fine art of performing hilarious scenes at the drop of a hat. If you enjoy comedy, gut-wrenching storytelling, and the occasional witty banter, then you need to come out to see the Parrots do what they do best!
The Notorious UIG
Hailing from the University of Alberta, the Notorious University Improv Group is where to go if you want to see some awesome Edmontonian improv! We share a long history with UIG, and you can often catch them at our Impulse Improv Festival!
The Collective
Founded in 1998, The Collective Improv Troupe is a student-led comedy improv troupe that produces original content and performances from the University of Washington in Seattle! This includes live improv every other Friday, an annual sketch show, and standup throughout the year! They also make podcast and video comedy content.
UofC Improv
From Calgary, Alberta, it's UofC Improv! Join their practices, watch their shows, wear a cowboy hat, be from Calgary!! You can also spot them sometimes at our Impulse Improv Festival -- indeed, sometimes with cowboy hats!
Usask Improv
Look out, it's USask Improv! Providing improvisational theatre, fantastic instagram content, and good overall vibes to Saskatoon every year at the University of Saskatchewan. Maybe catch a sneak peak at them during our yearly Impulse Improv Festival...
