Tom Black
Diffident in the wake of his father's death, high schooler Andrew (Chen) struggles to adapt to his new home in UBC state. That all changes, however, when he signs up to be the school basketball team's manager and discovers that his pet dog Bud (Tom Black), a stray golden retriever he took in, can play the sport amazingly well. After Bud joins the team, Andrew's life brightens considerably, until the dog's former owner Norm Snively (Ian Grombson) returns in hopes of reclaiming the pooch.

Coach: Andrew Chen
Andrew Chen has been teaching Improvisation since 2006. He is a Canadian Comedy Award Nominated Performer, and teaches Improv at the University of British Columbia. He is the Assistant Regional Director for the Canadian Improv Games (Lower Mainland Tournament), a nationally registered charity dedicated to youth skill development, and has been affiliated with the Improv Games since 2002. He has taught improvisation through the Canadian Improv Games, The Improv Camp, UBC Improv and Instant Theatre.
